Good Buy, But Beware On the long run, Customer Support from seller is Non-Existent.
I bought his item on October 3rd got it on October 4th. Was happy with the product because software and hardware were a breeze to install and start using. That is until problems with hardware started happening. 1st was the printing bed latch that broke (ABOUT A MONTH IN TO THE PURCHASE), so started to look for a replacement on Amazon and the seller’s website...NOT FOUND ANYWHERE. I got lucky and was able to find a printable version on a website (had to MacGyver the bed to make it print 2 of the latches as to fix problem). Then about 1 1/2 months into the purchase the printer bed Teflon cover started to come off the edges. Once again could not find a replacement either on Amazon or the seller’s website. Only was able to find the full printer bed and only from an overseas vendor and expensive as hell. Now lucky for me when I buy filament from Amazon (name Brand Overture) they come with their own Teflon covers so I MacGyver again to replace the one it came with the one I got. Then the week after, the printer head (Extruder) started to clog and the only way to fix it is to remove the Bowden tube from the collet on top of the Extruder Head Assembly. After having to unclog the line twice the collet part got damaged (because seller decided to put glue on the tube to reinforce the tube into the collet, even do it is necessary to remove tube to clean the Extruder every so often (about every month or so) and the tube kept coming out. That Had been happening for the last 6 days, and no amount of MacGyver works. Each and every time I had tried to contact the seller via the phone provided by Seller’s Amazon Info Page or the sellers website, I was unable to get a live person or able to leave a message as their voice mailbox is full. 4 different times I have emailed their sales and support email and no answer or even acknowledge of reading the emails (with the read receipt). AGAIN I STRESS: the printer is great for the price and quality, it can hardly be touched. but if you need parts or support then wish you luck. Amazon (2 customer Service Reps and a Supervisor) while not Responsible to enforce the seller to help at all, did try to contact seller and no response to them either. While looking online during my wait for Amazon Customer service to contact seller I found a replacement to the piece that was damaged. At Amazon website and at a great price. Now if you are mechanically inclined then you can find the parts and buy them all in Amazon. And repair the printer (voiding warranty upon repair) The Bowden tube and the collets can be bought for about 10 bucks each part. The tube is called PTFE Teflon Bowden Tube for 1.75 Filament (2.0mm ID/4.0mm OD) – White Connector Tubing for 1.75 Filament. It can be ordered from 1.5 or 2 meters. You find them at - https://www.amazon.com/Meters-White-Teflon-Bowden-Filament/dp/B01CUPV90M/ref=pd_ybh_a_20?_encoding=UTF8&refRID=MYX3F94FEW4GXWGNPM0H&th=1 The collets come in a 10 pack (Witbot PC4-M6 Straight Fitting 4mm thread M6 Connector for 3D Printer (Pack of 10 pcs) You find them at - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NANKRTD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The printer bed Teflon stickers cover comes with the OVERTURE PLA Filament 1.75mm or can be bought by itself (OVERTURE 3D Build Surface 200mm x 200mm would need to be cut to proper size) You find them at - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RRXKVVX?pf_rd_p=ab873d20-a0ca-439b-ac45-cd78f07a84d8&pf_rd_r=GR4CJ8314RZ702QNFZBH And the printer bed/platform can be found under the Monoprice Voxel Replacement Build Platform You find them at - https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Voxel-Replacement-Build-Platform/dp/B07XGCBC4R/ref=pd_ybh_a_18?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=KM8VP0VSACGKWTCRTBC6 (THIS PRINTER IS ALSO LABELED Monoprice MP Voxel 3D Printer on Amazon from another seller) You find them at - https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-133820-Voxel-Printer-Removable/dp/B07GV5GLLC/ref=pd_ybh_a_20?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=D1Y1D0032GNHDH347V0W) I want to fully express that, I do not work for any of the brands I mentioned, I do not get commission from any of the brands I mentioned. I do however buy every brand I mentioned and as a consumer of such brands I like to express my opinion on them. As I know not everyone is mechanically inclined or might not be able to physically perform repairs on items. Also, once you have done you own repairs on item the warranty is considered VOID by most manufacturers and sellers(YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THIS). Also, be aware that the item warranty is for 180days from purchase and it is supposed to be provided by seller NOT AMAZON (good Luck with that). The item post does not have a way to add an Amazon partner additional warranty provider like Asurion or Square Trade. The seller provided 6 months or 12 months additional warranty on their website AND THEY WANT 450.00 FOR 1 YEAR OF EXTENDED WARRANTY ---I consider that A JOKE, SINCE FOR THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY I WOULD GET ANOTHER PRINTER (I paid 401.75 on this purchase) AND STILL WOULD SAVE MYSELF 90.00. SINCE PRINTER IS 370.00 RIGHT NOW AS OF THIS REVIEW.
