I liked this toothpaste at first but after about six months of use, I started having an allergic reaction. Outside the corners of my mouth were dry, red, raw, and splitting. I couldn't yawn, laugh, smile, or eat anything that required large bites (like salads). Everything hurt my mouth. It was very embarassing looking too. It looked like cold sores. I tried lip balms, ointments, essential oils, vaseline... I even saw a doctor and researched possible nutrient malabsorption, thinking I had a condition, or possibly oral thrush or a yeast infection. It sent me into an anxiety spiral! I am so glad to report that I googled Jason products and found that many people have allergies. That made me question whether it was having an impact. I suppose I dismissed the toothpaste as a culprit since I hadn't had an issue for months while using it. The sad part is, I bought this toothpaste because of a thyroid problem, since it's free of flouride. I was trying to do something good for myself but ended up causing so much worry and confusion. After finally realizing it was this toothpaste, I had to pitch two full tubes. Just be aware of this if you try it. It might work fine and then you suddenly develop an allergic reaction.
