This is not an astronomical telescope in my opinion. Well unless you want a blurry look at the moon. It would work as a spotting scope for target practice or landscape. The problem is that it is very short. Perhaps 2.5 feet tall at the mount. Looking up the tube, you need to be about 2 feet tall. Too light weight. I dare you to boresight the main tube with the spotter scope on a planet, then try to follow its movement. Perhaps if you bolt the mount to a tall heavy table.
