I read the reviews for this item, however my experience with this product was terrible. It arrived in two boxes, one of which had obviously been opened and re-taped shut. Once we began assembly, we realized that the box that had been re-taped was missing ALL OF THE HARDWARE (screws, nuts, bolts, etc) and the three center support rods. One of the long beams (which is upholstered like the headboard) had a tear in it. We called Amazon's support number to have these items shipped to us, but were told they were unable to do so. Received a $50 credit then spent $75 at the hardware store to replicate the hardware and create our own support rod system out of 2x4's. Oh, and I did call the manufacturer's number to make the same request, but that number only goes to a voicemail. I left two messages with my request and contact information and have not heard from them. Because I couldn't figure out how to ship back such a large item, we kept it, but are extremely disappointed with this purchase and with the level of Amazon support to make it right.
