HBO Now through Amazon is the same price as HBO Max and offers more content! HBO Max’s parent company, AT&T’s WarnerMedia, and Amazon haven’t reached an agreement for distribution of HBO Max. More than 5 million consumers currently receive HBO Now as a channel available through Amazon Prime Video, and those subscriptions currently remain unchanged at $14.99 a month. It's not worth it in any way to sign up for service through Amazon. You're literally paying for less content. I made the mistake of signing up through my Fire Stick. I'm cancelling and paying directly through HBO so I can have access to all of the content, not just a fraction of it. TLDR: Get HBO Max directly through HBO. The service here is the same price, but less content. Both can be cancelled at any time, and are month to month.
