I have not used the device, so I cannot attest to how it works or does not. However, as an EMT, I could not say that I would recommend this product to anyone based on research done and allegations that the company's CEO would neither speak on camera to a reporter investigating the device nor provide information to back up their claims as to lives saved or how effective it is. It is worth noting that as an "FDA class one medical device," there is no oversight by the FDA on those devices as there is on others. I would recommend that you search out reports on the device and the company and then, being further informed, make your own decision as to whether or not you want to trust your life or the life of someone you love to this device as opposed to the proven training for saving a victim of choking.
