I'm surprised with all the high ratings of this book! I wanted something similar to what I had when I was a kid - a book full of short kid-friendly stories. This is definitely not what I was looking for. There are stories that are highly inappropriate for children... There's a story about a man who was lonely who kidnapped his sister's daughter for himself, there's another story about very graphic and horrible stuff you'd expect in a rated r film, there's a story about some lonely guy who "tangled" with a women in bed. After a few stories, I gave up on the book actually having stories for kids. I don't know who in their right mind would think this is ok to be read to kids.
