Many of these films were produced and released by other companies, including MGM, RKO, United Artists, and Selznick. None of them are new to DVD, and most of them have been available individually for many years. All of them are going to be transferred to sub-standard double-sided DVD discs that are prone to scratches and playback problems. And the majority of titles will not include the special features previously available on their single-title releases. So why would anyone be motivated to purchase this poorly named collection? The question is rhetorical.
