UPDATE: After less than two months, the hook-n-loop closures are failing! I have to sew on Velcro or buy new boots. They lasted long enough to be un-returnable, but they are not worth buying. Beware!!! My husband has had two strokes and now suffers from kidney damage; and he spends most of his time sleeping in a recliner. His hamstrings were getting tighter and tighter, making it difficult for him to stand up without leaning backward. These boots keep enough bend in the heel to help him stand straight. He is very grateful I got him a pair of them. They are easy to put on and remove. I think they have improved his quality of life!
