Both Units were installed, one in May and the other in July. The rain collector blew off the one installed in July during a storm. It was easily found and placed back on. It is possible the rain collector wasn't installed properly. I will check on the items in the future and if any additional negative feedback is mentioned, it will be posted. This is an update. The rain gauge blew off again after it was reinstalled. We are absolutely positive it was reinstalled properly. I called the company and they will not provide a replacement rain gauge. As a result, I will no longer recommend this item.
