i still do not understand why people sign up to use their discover/chase points on amazon... instead i think one is better off taking a cashback on statement. OR still better buy a Gift Card to their favorite merchant /restaurant. In doing so you can use your regular discover /chase card to make a purchase and get 1-5% cash back depending on the cashback calendar.. more important than cashback, i believe the purchase protections are better if you make a credit purchase using your regular card than your bonus points... correct me if i am wrong..
