I downloaded the free version this app for a kindle fire tablet to be used by my children in a hope that they can practice some writing and editing projects with the tablet in addition to playing games and watching videos. The functionality of this app is fine, while the user interface is quite complicate for young users with limited experience on office software. The big problem of this free version is that it keeps popping up reminders for upgrading to premium version, to the frequency of annoying. It also always want me to sign up for its own cloud account, which I regard as completely unnecessary and potentially risky. Moreover, it comes without font style as basic as Times New Roman. And if you'd like to have this font in option list, you will have to pay for it. Frankly I wouldn't mind to pay for some fancy font, but Times New Roman? Seriously? It's quite obvious to me that this so called "free" version put more effort in persuading users to pay than creating a smooth user experience by providing a solid service. I got rid of it in a few days.
