Wow...what a bad book. It was sadly in need of an editor, character development, a heroine with a brain and a hero who isn't....uh, who just isn't! First off she is a silly rich girl who disguises herself as a servant so she can avoid her match-making step-momma for the weekend? Then the hero thinks she is mentally deficient (I'm still not sure she isn't)...then the hero has absolutely ZERO self-esteem?? Hmm.....oh, and he makes up an alter ego so that he can move about the ton and rob them. And no one....NO ONE...seems to realize he has made up his entire life?? Not even his best friend. Maybe the story could have been pulled off by good writing....we will never know. I didn't finish the book and I'm not quite certain how it has obtained high marks. Often I read these Kindle romances and I feel ripped off by the reviewers, which is why I've decided to write my own reviews. This is one of those instances. Now that anyone can epub it is hard to separate the wheat from the chaff......this my dear customer is chaff.
