Bought two of these and both died within in a week. Updating this review: After much time thinking this over and doing a lot more with external drives the problem with these drives becomes obvious. Most users get these giant drives when they don't need them. They plug it in back up a few GB of data and thing wow that was fast and this drive works flawlessly. Other people by these drives attempt to back up 5TB of data the drive overheats and dies. There is no ventilation of heat dissipation on these drives. They are terrible design and only designed for light us. The problem is who needs a 5TB drive for light use. It's a na over priced poorly designed gadget for people who don't know what they are buying.
