I can't sew. I did make a hat and a pillow in the 8th grade, but the stress of the experience almost crushed me. Because of this, I almost always buy clothes from people who didn't have to spend lunch fixing stiches. If you just hot glued sheets cut with safety scissors together, I can guarantee you'd be happier than if you purchased this. Unfortunately, the person who designed this garment was also as crappy at sewing as I am, but didn't have anyone to tell them that they should pursue another line of work. Everything about this cape thing says "frumpy" and "slap dash." Buying it just adds to all the poor decisions I've made in my life.
