Essentially a very expensive fan
In order for an evaporative cooler to work you have to suck in very hot air. It sucks the hot air through the filter that has water running through it, as the hot air gets sucked in, it evaporates the water creating a cooling effect. Now, if the air that is being sucked in is room temperature, then it will not cool. It will just blow out air temperature air. Which is why so many swamp coolers are on the TOP of a house, so that it sucks in the hottest air, the hotter the air it sucks in, the cooler the air it blows out because it evaporates more efficiently. So this piece of garbage DOES NOT WORK...and is not designed to work.
