8 outlets, but you can only use 3 at a time, even with regular plugs or chargers.
I can not even put two Kindle bases next to each other or across from each other on this surge protector. The concept is great. I love the slim design, but it really needed just a bit more space between all the outlets. It has a green light that is quite bright, that continues to shine. Only way to turn it off is to turn the power off. I think I am going to have to try a different surge protector to fit the 4 things I needed to.
