An Overall C-
Scan is not good. The scan comes out smeary due to digital artifacts surrounding the image. End of story. (See attached picture.)
Yes, I've tried .jpeg, .jpeg2000, and .TIFF. Makes NO DIFFERENCE. I scanned at the highest resoltution on the scanner, which is 600dpi.
Copying: if you place your original up to the side of the glass plate TO GET A GOOD ALIGNMENT, the copy will cut off 3/4" on that side of the original image. Any original that does not have a 3/4" border will be cropped on the sides that touch the edge of the glass. (See second attached picture.)
Printing so far is OK, although I cannot get blacks saturated properly on glossy paper. They come out slightly light-ish and a little on the purple side.
So, there you are folks. And you thought your HP Printer was lame...
