I have been wearing nimbus even numbers since the 12s. I don’t do well with odd nimbus years because they are too narrow in the toe box. The 18s for me, were the mother load. They were finally perfect! Got great reviews, everyone seemed to love them. So what does Asics do? Make them worse and worse with the new generations. The 19s and 20s were a complete train wreck. Nothing in comfort compared to the older styles. The 21 were slightly better, minus the horrible to box. I’m excited! I hear ASIC is going back to the old style Nimbus for 22! Unless you have flat Fred Flinstone feet, these are just absolutely horrible. Nimbus has always been a neutral shoe, but my Old Navy flip flops have more support at this point. Had them on for an hour around the house and my feet hurt so bad. No arch support, no nothing. They are a little more cushioned then previous train wrecks, but with literally no arch support what’s the point. I’m done with this company and shoe. They just keep making it worse and worse, when the shoe was already perfected in previous models. I have one pair of 18s left I have to savor. I bought 6 pairs. It’s like I knew they would be the end of a once great shoe.
