It is now several months since first review. The only pan that gave a problem from the other three was this 719-14 2 qt. I used it the first time to boil green beans and put salt in water for a few minutes. When done the pan had stains. Some would say the salt pitted it, but I used it for a few minutes and have the other ones that did not do this. So I use it for odds and ends and to fry things but it does stick for frying. Perhaps it was defective. The other Cuisinart 719-18 one quart and the saucier work fine. Amazon did credit my account so they were very fair as usual. Thin metal, IT IS NOT 18/10 stainless steel as written on site, the box nor the actual pot has 18/10 etched on it therefore it IS NOT. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!
