I have a tiny 13lb dog who prefers sleeping in our bed, but on occassion needs to be in his crate. This a.m. when I went to get him he had managed to tear a whole in the side mesh "window" at the stitching. He got his head out but was trapped at the neck in a standing position. Had he not been able to stand that long he certainly could have been choked. I had to cut the rest of the "window" in order to be able to free him (pic3). This could have been a deadly defect.
