Obvious design flaw
Obvious design flaw, makes me fear something else might be screwed up too. Yes I’m pissed because a five minute job was turned into an hour.. I would’ve gladly paid double for a power strip to get my hour back.
There is not a screw made that will fit the slots to hang on the wall.. why make such a fuss? BECAUSE I CAREFULLY CHOSE A POWER STRIP TO HANG. You can see the screw slots in the pictures, but no screw will fit. Make no mistake the slots are too shallow for the head of any screw I’ve seen in 40 years.
This turned a five minute job into close to an hour (one star). Time spent looking through 1000 screws trying to find something that would work, wondering if I could use a smaller screw (no good either). Time spent coming up with a plan which entailed finding screws, temporarily mounting the screws on a piece of wood, and grinding the head of the screws a little bit at a time, and then checking for fit with the power strip. About 10 tries later I finally ground the head of the screw just right.
Unless you have special equipment to grind metal, you will not be able to hang this on a wall unless you use duct tape.
