Metal arm broke
After about a year of normal use the metal support of the left arm broke! I have never seen this happen with a chair. It should never have happened with a 1200 dollar chair! Also, the arm rests do not stay when placed in position. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRICEY CHAIR.
Update, after just about three years both the back support and the other, right arm broke as well. Do not buy this chair!
