I purchased this product in April of 2016 and it gave out within the first 8 months of having the product. I bought it because everyone had talked so much about how great it is and what an amazing product it is to have and how easy it is to set up. Well within the first 8 months, the Egg Assembly, had a Filter Pump failure and kept indicating a E02 Problem. I called the Warranty Department and they told me to try a few things, and it still resulted in a pump failure. I couldn't believe the issues that kept coming up with it. Bestway then told me that they would warranty the Egg Assembly and sent me a new one free of charge. This was within the 1 year warranty for the pump. Well, everything was working well again until about May of 2017 when we had that same indication again. This time, there was no warranty because we expired the 1 year from the date of purchase. I contacted Bestway again and asked them what the next steps could be. Well once again, the same process we went through, was exactly the same process we dealt with back in December of 2016. So we followed their steps and we were able to get it running again with a little bit of their help, but then the indication would go on and off. It is March of 2018, and since November 2017, I been trying to contact Bestway, again, multiple times and when I finally got through, they told me that they can't help me in any other way, but to offer me the chance to buy a new Egg Assembly at the price of $199.99!!!! They said that when I buy this new Egg Assembly product, then I would have a warranty for 1 year after that date of purchase, should anything go wrong, again! I told them that this is highway robbery!!! They then told me to find an alternative place to purchase the Filter Pump since, they don't sell the individual pump separately from the whole Egg Assembly. I sent them pictures of what had happened to the first pump and the second pump, and it showed that the pin that the electromagnetic filter pump motor rotates on, snapped and started to rub against the side wall of the interior motor assembly. This happened to both motors. There is a direct current that flows right to the motor, and if there wasn't water flowing through the pump, this could have caused a fire and the electrical wires connect right to the water source, could have shocked anyone in the hot tub. I contacted Bestway once again to see if they could help, only for one more chance. Finally, after hours of talking and trying to discuss options with their supervision, they told me to go and buy a new one from Wal-Mart where they offer an extra 2-3 years warranty on the entire product to include the pump, should they fail!!!! Then hung up. I don't recommend this product to anyone. Yes, this might have been one scenario, but what happens after 2 years pass for those of you who decide to purchase this product and have to go through the same situation? Just tell yourself that.
