Memes aside this isn't a particularly great source of calories whether as a snack or a calorie controlled diet. For the chocolate bars per 400 calories you're only getting 8 grams of Protein but 40 grams of Carbs 95% of which come from straight sugar. This is basically not good tasting candy. It doesn't taste bad but if your going to eat something where half the calories is from fat and the other half is from sugar I would expect it to taste much better. The texture is like shortbread. Fairly dry but doesn't crumble. I'm not really sure what these would be good for. The best price is if you buy 10 packs at once getting 400 calories for around $3.60 each. Considering how unhealthy these are you actually would probably be better off just buying a chicken sandwich from a fast food place for less. The calorie to cost ratio is much better and health wise it would actually probably be even better with a lower glycemic index. The only possible use case I can think of is something outdoors like hiking or camping but even then it would probably be much cheaper just to source your own trail mix or other types of sports bars.
