I honestly thought from the variety of plus and minus reviews that this Avid cordless impact gun was the correct choice, it wasn’t! First tried it (after making sure to charge the battery completely) on my motorcycle’s back rim(torque to 110 ft lbs) didn’t budge, made allot of noise but no go. Next tried my boats lug nuts (torque to (90 ft lbs) I know this because I just torque them with a clicker torque wrench and still NO good. So I recharged the battery thinking it didn’t get a complete charge but it’s a lith-ion battery, anyway, it’s completely charged!! This time I tried it on my Honda Civic’s rims ( I rotated tires last week and used a clicker torque wrench set to 80 ft lbs ) wow, lots of noise but nothing, not even a budge, so it’s going back, shameful cause it seemed like a great tool for allot of people, at least that’s what they wrote, hmmm
