First of all, the pool is actually 22" deep. The length and width is somewhat accurate. the MAIN problem with this pool is the overflow hole approximately 8 inches from the bottom. An OVERFLOW HOLE, not a drain plug! Therefore, unless you find a way to seal that hole perhaps with duct-tape (which I am yet to try), this will essentially be a paddling pool for little kids. Day 2. Used duct-tape to seal up the overflow hole and it worked just fine. Also, the waterfall canopy doubled as a float when it is removed from the Velcro strips on the sides of the pool. All in all, this is your standard inflatable pool. Just don't be misled by 51" height and the unmentioned overflow hole.
