Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I've got batteries coming out of my eyeballs - I've tested 6 types of aaa's over the last few months. From all of these tests, I found these to be thoroughly mediocre -- while they're a better value than lowest-ranked option (Energizer Max), they're not better by much. By value (power per dollar), these batteries came in 5th place (out of 6 tested) in most tests ... but only because they're relatively cheap. By capacity, they came in dead last, for every single test. They had between 10 and 35 percent less capacity than the best batteries (depending on use case), and their only saving grace was that they don't cost a whole lost more than the 'value' oriented brands (AmazonBasics, ACDelco). My standard test procedure is to take 3 fresh batteries sourced from Amazon, all starting at approx. 75 degrees Fahrenheit, and discharge them in my Opus BT-C2000 battery analyzer at rates of 100 ma, 200 ma, and 400 ma (discharge rate affects usable capacity). I executed this procedure for these batteries several times (I actually did two extra runs because I couldn't believe how bad they were), and typical capacity at each discharge rate was: Disch Rt | Capacity | Runtime | Sample use case 100 mA | 908 mAh | 9 hrs | Low-power LED flashlight 200 mA | 590 mAh | 2.9 hrs | Electronic toy / medium LED flashlight 400 mA | 443 mAh | 1.1 hrs | Motorized toy / bright LED flashlight If you'd like to compare these Rayovacs to the others that I've tested, I've included a comparison table and chart in the images.
