Wow has this product gone south. It used to be amazing, then they sold to Electrolux. Then the app didn’t work, then they fixed it, now it doesn’t work again and integration with alexa has stopped working. The skill isn’t even listed in the Alexa app any longer. I bought a second cooker for a second home and it took a month for me to get to that home and try to set it up. Everything about it’s connectivity and app just stinks now. So now I’m past the return window and stuck with a dumb cooker instead of a smart one. Do yourself a favor if you are researching Sous Vide cookers and go for a Joule- a friend has one and it just always works. Or buy the Bluetooth but skip the wifi on this one and don’t count on the app. Totally stay away from the Anova Nano that didn’t ship last October after it has been available for presale since June 2017. These people just can’t get anything right lately! I would also be hesitant to buy the Sansaire. My first one stopped working in about 3 months and its replacement ( given to me by Sur La Table, because sansaire wouldn’t help) cracked where the door on the back is and also in the front - just looks like cheap plastic parts that can’t handle prolonged heat. I had to hold it together with a silicone rubber band till I bought the Anova that I’m reviewing here.
