Bought headphones through Amazon and absolutely enjoyed them until the switch quit working after 3 months of infrequent use when traveling. Contacted Bose customer service, located in the Philippines as I learned while talking to four different agents, the first of whom promised a replacement would be shipped in two days and that I would receive confirming e-mail in two hours. Didn't happen. Called again and this time a copy of the replacement order was e-mailed but no shipping notice. Several days and nothing further. Another call and I was not able to understand the agent and asked to speak to a supervisor who was advised would call in an hour. Didn't happen. Called again and the fourth agent said that the previous agents were in error and that I would have to return the defective unit before a new unit could be shipped. During this discussion the agent admitted that the switch issue was a known problem!! He then agreed to ship a new unit immediately and said I would receive an email confirming that in a couple of hours. Nothing! This is a good product. Just hope you don't have a problem with the switch which is a known issue. Two weeks have passed since I first contacted Bose about the problem with several promises of replacement and for follow-up e-mails which did not happen. I finally contacted Amazon where I purchased the product via Chat Line and conveyed the problem. The customer service representative reviewed the problem, ordered a new one to be shipped, sent paperwork confirming that as well as paperwork to return the defective unit and the new one arrived 3 days later! That my friends at Bose is customer service and why I order everything I can from Amazon and not directly from the manufacturer earn I can.
