Jasmine Rice lovers beware: This thing can't cook jasmine rice worth a damn. Against my SO's wishes, I decided to splurge and get a rice cooker from the brand that everyone loves vs. a very inexpensive Aroma rice cooker. I was very excited when I got it, and immediately unpacked and followed the instructions to cook rice. Since this didn't have any Jasmine setting, I tried multiple combinarions including long grain, standard white rice, and some instructions I got via email from the manufacturer after the first 4 attempts failed. All of them resulted in the same: clumpy, undercooked rice with water at the bottom of the pan. Not recommended if you're cook only jasmine rice!
