This works great in a humid climate and does complete inverse (means drying out your skin) in a dry climate. I didn't know that when I bought it. I live in California and when I start using it I wasn't impressed. It did nothing to my face at best. Then I went for 25 days beach holiday in a super humid climate, took it with me and it worked wonders. Then I came back and it dried out my skin to nearly cracking... So I did some research. Basic hyaluronic serums can only be used in humid conditions. They drain moisture from the air into your skin. In a dry climate, they just help to suck out the moisture from the skin. For successful use in a dry climate, hyaluronic serum must contain CD44 molecules (low molecular volume hyaluronic acid) for it to work. Don't buy this if your climate is dry.
