I bought this generator for my dad who lives in Florida and is 82 years old. I thought this would be good for him because it has electric start and runs on both gas and propane. Also, I have one of my own but it runs gas only. The first day he had the generator he ran it on both gas and propane. Everything was fine. A month later he tried to start it again but it would not run on gas. He tried everything he knew to do but still could not get it started on gas. It did run on propane with no problem. He called for support and was told that the carburetor is not under warranty and he would have to pay to get it fixed himself. That involved taking the generator to a place that could fix it and pay for it out of his own pocket. He did not tell me right away because he did not want to bother me, but I wish he would have. This generator is less than a year old and will only run on propane! No warranty service is available.
