Had great hopes for this bag because so many Amazon Basics items are quality, but not their luggage ... Pros are that the bag is huge, reasonable priced and reasonably designed. But, after one trip, that's one trip, bag is less than 30 days old, it had three failures, two I consider critical, and there are pictures to that which I referring. 1) The rails on the bottom failed at the end of my journey. One "rail" completely broke and is somewhere in the nether - it never came off the airport baggage belt. The broken end also cost me a pair of pants when it punctured them ... 2) A clip on one of the compression straps failed and is spending its days with the rail, because it never came off the belt either. And the bag was less than 70lbs and not overstuffed. 3) The less critical failure was the zipper, which other have complained about. The end zipper that accesses a smaller pocket (which I never even used) split, and the end compression strap was pulling away from the fabric. You can see where my finger is pointing to see the beginning of the failure. All in all - don't buy it. I know you think yours will be different, but these are not abuse issues, these are manufacturing flaws. Sending the bag back and buying something from a company that actually makes luggage. But still a fan of many other Amazon Basics items!
