Do not purchase Eero products. The band steering does not function properly and they will not allow you to choose the 5ghz network for specific devices. These things will put random devices on 2.4ghz and leave them there forever with no way to move them back to 5ghz unless you specify it in your driver settings. They claim they won't allow this in the name of "usability" - but how is it ok to make novices try and figure out how to force 5ghz in the driver? Google this. It is the single biggest issue with these devices. They would be excellent if they would fix it - with it, bandwidth is a disaster because of all the devices that get pushed to 2.4 that should be on 5.
