I'm a registered nurse. I work at the hospital but I also pickup in long term care any many times there just is not any working equipment available. I bought this to keep in my pocket so I can get a quick bp .. well... when it actually gets a reading- the reading its sometimes accurate. I did mine, my friend and my daughter. Half of the times it shows ERROR messages. If you move AT ALL it shows errors. This will not do. I know our baseline bps though and it was accurate the first time 112/60 but the second time it said 189/110. That is also DANGEROUS if someone is relying on this. Say an elderly person took a BP and it said 169/100 so they took their hydralizine and it was ACTUALLY 90/50, bottomed them out and hurt them! No good!!! Also, it took 4 times for it to read mine and I was perfectly still. Having circulation cut off that many times is no good either. Do not recommend and I will be returning it.
