I owned a sportbrella for about 8 years and it was awesome but the day came to retire and replace it. Of course I would get the same umbrella again! Big mistake. I don't understand, this umbrella was perfect and now they seemed to be manufactured with a " whats the cheapest & flimsiest option. What am I talking about. 1) the material is now thin and weak. 2) The locking mechanism for the pole extender is now cheap plastic that doesn't hold up to pressure. 3) the side flaps no longer clip up and now need to be rolled up with a single velcro strap to poorly hold it in place. I can only assume sportbrella was bought out by a company that then had to cut costs inorder to wring out more proffit from a once great product. Very disappointed.
