This oil burner is beautiful, but this is where the accolades stop. Although mine did not come broken as many people have reported in their reviews, after a week of use, mine is not doing very well. The three praying ladies are PAINTED and guess what takes the paint off???? OIL. Way to think it through dorks! I am really mad because for all of its design flaws this was the last thing that I expected to happen. Other design flaws are: You MUST have a long lighter to light the candle as the women are too close together to be able to slip the glass votive holder out from between them. You must remove the glass oil holder to remove the votive holder. The oil holder is made of VERY thin glass. Never ever use a candle that does not have some kind of housing/cup...metal, plastic whatever. The glass votive holder is made of the same VERY thin glass that the oil holder is and you will never ever be able to get candle wax out of it without breaking the glass. I am totally bummed...I was going to buy a second one for another room in my house, but not now...check out my photos. UPDATE: Amazon has removed my photos showing the paint on my fingers from the praying women and the white resin bodies underneath. As reported above the paint came off when it came into contact with oil...allegiance to the seller, I guess.
