We purchased this item to serve as backup power for home when power outages occurred. From Day ONE we had issues with the battery NOT holding a charge. We contacted Westinghouse repeatedly, they told us to just charge the battery. The battery will not hold a charge for more than 36-48 hours. We contacted the company/Westinghouse and they simply told us a battery was not under warranty, despite the fact it was ineffective upon arrival. Westinghouse told us we should take the battery and have it tested by a place like Autozone and if it still didn't work, they (Westinghouse) would provide us locations where WE could purchase a battery at our OWN expense. We found Westinghouse to have HORRIBLE customer service and EXTREMELY dishonest and misleading with their "warranty"..... This battery for this product was basically weak and dead upon arrival and Westinghouse basically said, your problem NOT ours.
