These lights look fantastic, when turned off. But when they’re turned on, they emit a disturbing color of orange. It’s like Halloween in my bathroom now. All the wall paint in the room looks weird under the intense orange light. It’s just awful. Let me say, that I’ve had real Edison bulbs in the past and they emit a soft warm light. I’ve seen LED Edison bulbs on display at Lowe’s and Home Depot and they all have a warm glow. This is what I expected when I bought these bulbs. After I installed them, the color was so shocking that I thought, surely there are color settings in the app so the light can be adjusted, but nope. The color of these bulbs is not soft white. It would best be described as medium orange. The orange is as intense as a Phillips Hue color changing bulbs. My wife and I tried to live with these for a week and we just could not get used to them. So, we’re sending all 8 bulbs back and instead of smart bulbs, we’re going to put in smart light switches and go with regular dumb Edison bulbs. This is a shame. Every bulb in our home is a Phillips Hue. But, these bulbs just have an unacceptable color. I don’t know what Phillips was thinking when they approved the color of the light these bulbs produce. They really could not have picked a worse color.
