I should talk about the pros. The fact that this has to settings of a floodlight, a good long distance very bright flashlight, and even a red light with signal options is pretty good. The fact that they are ran off of a backup battery is even better being is that they have quite the battery life. the only con that I can find, which turns out to be a deal killer is the solar charging. When I tested this out, I drained my battery almost all the way down and placed my phone on the dash of my car in direct sunlight. This thing got over 48 hours of good charging and never even went up 25%. When I called GoalZero customer service to ask why, I was informed that the solar panel simply isn't large enough to effectively charge the unit. I'm pretty sure it is advertised as not a trickle charger that is it meant to maintain the battery. It is advertised as a source of recharging the battery to the point of use, even if it is charged slowly. I honestly feel like this product doesn't do what it says it will do and therefore I feel misled on the purchase of it.
