We've had our Nespresso for a decade with no issues. We clean it regularly and have used it daily with Nespresso brand capsules. We saw these and couldn't pass up the deal, $.33 compared to $.75 or $.80 a capsule!! Well it might be too good to be true because in the end it will probably break our machine...why? The coffee in the capsules are either packed too tight or the grind is too fine. The Ristretto blend isn't as bad as these, the Intense blend. Here's the issue, back pressure in the machine. With the less intense Ristretto we just get extra water in the spent capsule tray. However with the Intense sometimes the tray will fill with water after making two espressos and often the machine will leak water underneath and we have to wipe it up with a rug. This isn't occasionally this is every capsule and we are at around 60 capsules between these two blends. Ruining our perfectly good machine after 10 years isn't worth saving 60% on capsules. I've been purchasing products on Amazon since 2007 and have done maybe five reviews, so I thought this was important enough to warn future buyers!
