Beware it has poor resolution
I did a little research on this projector because I was hoping to get a good cheap projector for movies and games. This is not it. From the Hasbro website: Resolutions: 557 x 234 Which is below standard television resolution and far below DVD resolution and blowing this low resolution up to 60 inches would further degrade the picture even more. Having a DVD player in this poor resolution projector makes no sense. At a cost of $300 you would be better off buying a 27+ inch CRT TV or applying the $300 towards a real projector. I would think that kids would not even like the poor resolution of this toy projector. It's a nice try I guess, but if it had at least standard definition resolution then it wouldn't be too bad but it doesn't. It uses a 35 Watt MR-11 12V bulb which costs a fraction of what most real projector bulbs cost, but then again, due to the poor resolution, it does not really matter. The words cheap and good resolution projector don't really go together yet. If you're here reading this and thinking about buying it to watch movies in big screen fashion then keep on looking. This is a toy projector and an overpriced, poor resolution one at that. Here is the link to Hasbro's website for those during research on this item: [...]
