UPDATE: This is a non returnable item. The ThermoPro is still stuck on 10% and hasn't moved in days. However, if I breathe into the back of it the humidity gauge goes up...then back down to 10%. As it is a non-returnable item I thought I could get a replacement under warranty. No place to call, write or send it beyond Amazon. I guess these are made in China and sold a lot of distributors. And so I bought another Acu Rite (like the one in the photo below) and it works just fine, within 1% of the other two. I thought this was going to be a great addition to the two other hygrometers I already own. It wasn't the cheapest, nor most expensive one. I was attracted by the white case and large numbers. I also own an Acu Rite hygrometer AcuRite 00613 Indoor Humidity Monitor and a hygrometer from Taylor guitars, costing 3x as much the other two Taylor Hygro Thermometer Mini. I came to learn that this is not an item that can be returned. DO NOT BUY THIS HYGROMETER. If this is the price range you're after would steer you to the Acu Rite model in the earlier link.
