Do not buy this product (or any HP printer) if you annoying high pitched humming sounds bother you like they do me. After setting up the printer, it started making this sound whenever it's in sleep mode. After checking forums online, it turns out that many people have complained about this on many HP model printers. Yet HP continues to sell these printers with this defect, without warning the consumers. I gave it one star, because Amazon does not have a negative rating
