I definitely appreciate what this company is trying to do but I feel like the product isn't quite there yet. I ordered two bags of these cups, along with compostable plates and utensils for my husband's birthday BBQ this past weekend. I was So determined to not have the bags and bags of non biodegradable garbage that we usually have after these things! I was very excited for the cups since we go through a ton of solo cups every party at our house! The cups came and looked great. I set them outside on the table with the other stuff, getting ready for the party to start. It was a hot day. The guests took their sweet time showing up and by the time they did the temp outside was about 85°F. They jumped into drinking right away and opened the cups up. I was thrilled. About an hr after that I started to notice these warped looking cups sitting around and one of my guests walked up with one in their hand. I went to look at the bag of these cups only to find out that they were melting!!! In the bag! Many were fused together so the second bag had been opened, as well, by some guest determined to get their drink on! Lolol I looked around the deck and house only to see, to my horror, that everyone was drinking out of melted cups! It was hilarious and ridiculous to say the least. I had someone go grab some solo cups for me right away. No one needs to try and drink out of a melted cup. Lolol Anyways, they need to do some work on this product or TELL us right up top that these cups will melt in the sun!
