You would be able to get tons of mileage from this baffle had you considered using metal instead of a plexiglass type material. After installing this baffle the smart-ass squirrels started chewing away. They were not able to reach their goal (getting to the feeder) but they did chew and scratch-away at the baffle leaving it mangled and no longer looking nice. By now you should know that squirrels are smart and the material used (for this baffle) does NOT match the overall intelligence of clever squirrels. I purchased this baffle because it could be used (without cutting a Shepard's hook into) to attach the baffle. This is a very novel idea. Why on earth did you go with plastic in the first place is beyond me. These are WISCONSIN SQUIRRELS!! They are smart, cleaver and they do plan ahead. Challenge them and given em metal!! Bag Lady
