I would love to give this pool a higher rating, but for now I cannot. The set up was pretty simple, my daughter and I put it together. It is rather large but we managed. Once the pool was filled to the appropriate fill line for the pump to work, the pump turned on, made a large noise but it worked. Upon trying to run the pump a second time it simply hummed but did not flow any water through. After that the pump simply died. What an awful experience on an expensive purchase to have the key element that will keep the pool clean to die after one use. I am currently waiting for a replacement (one week after the original receipt of the pool) and I will update the review according based on the quality of the replacement. 07/20/18 - UPDATE - I have tried numerous time to get the pump replaced and they make it very difficult to do so. Amazon does not carry spare pumps so you have to go to the manufacturer. The manufacturer makes replacing the pump a nightmare. I was asked to do additional troubleshooting although their instructions clearly state that if the pump makes a loud noise and die , there is no fixing it. I had to call back several times and as of today... still no replacement. It is a good thing that I purchased a pump with a larger engine which is really the appropriate size for the pool. It works great. I will not change my rating because it should not be this hard for them to honor their faulty product.
