When I first purchased the product I would've given it a 5 star rating in all 3 categories of ease of use, deep cleaning and versatility. I was so excited with the performance that I prematurely recommended it to others. Within 3 months of infrequent use (I'm afraid to at that I am not very domestic or disciplined in my cleaning lol), the machine would only work intermittently. And now it is completely inoperable. Also the components get stuck and are almost impossible to remove even with the help of my son who is strong. I called the 800 number and I received a call and the gentleman politely said that he would rectify. When I called several times there has been no response at all. So now I am stuck with a steam mop that doesn't work at all. It did not last 9 months. In the description, it states that it is a British product. If you check the details on the underside of the equipment, it indicates not only is it made in China but the Chinese manufacturing company is listed. When I checked out the Light n Easy website, where I will also be making a formal complaint, it is clear that the owner is non English speaking and there are also Chinese characters in the content. In the medium to long term, I hope you have a better experience that I did. I don't recommend this product or its customer service.
