When the first year ends you get E-Mails telling you renew for $74.98. Below is what I received. if your device is not renewed by the deadline then the following steps will be taken: 1. All services for the device will be turned off and the device itself deactivated; meaning it will no longer transmit any new data and all access to historical data from your account will be removed. Once deactivated you will not be able to reactivate the device later without paying an additional activation fee. 2. You will no longer be able to add new devices to your account or create any new accounts. The remaining devices in your account (if any) will still remain functional for the remainder of their activation term but no new accounts or devices will be allowed to be added. All renewal purchases for device service and upgrades are non-refundable.
